Head - Mergers & Acquisitions

In his previous role, Rahul served as the Chief Strategy Officer at FDC Limited where he led transformative initiatives across the US, India, and South Africa, resulting in significant net income growth. His achievements include acquiring Enteroplus from GSK and consolidating stakes in a South African JV.

Rahul’s extensive background encompasses 18 years in Investment Banking with ANZ Investment Bank, ENAM Securities, and PwC Corporate Finance, including a tenure at Pfizer India in Strategy and Business Development.

Rahul Saikia, currently leading M&A and Strategy at Rising Pharmaceuticals, has been pivotal in driving the firm’s growth through strategic M&A.

He played a crucial role in partnering with HIG Capital and spearheaded the noteworthy acquisition of Akorn Inc’s injectable plant in Decatur, IL in June 2023, earning a nomination for Acquisition of the Year at Citeline’s Global Generics and Biosimilars Awards.

In his previous role, Rahul served as the Chief Strategy Officer at FDC Limited where he led transformative initiatives across the US, India, and South Africa, resulting in significant net income growth. His achievements include acquiring Enteroplus from GSK and consolidating stakes in a South African JV.

Rahul’s extensive background encompasses 18 years in Investment Banking with ANZ Investment Bank, ENAM Securities, and PwC Corporate Finance, including a tenure at Pfizer India in Strategy and Business Development.
