Nand Desai is dedicated to driving strategic transformations and integrations within the organization, leveraging his extensive experience across all functional groups to ensure successful execution. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan – Ross School of Business. Before joining Rising, Nand was engaged in private equity at H.I.G. Capital, where he focused on middle-market opportunities. He began his career as an Analyst in the M&A group at Greenhill & Co., gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and advisory services.

Generic injectables have been a common theme throughout his career, having worked at two of the larger generic arms of branded companies, Apothecon / Bristol Myers-Squibb and Sandoz / Novartis. While at Sandoz, Dave led the commercial team which ultimately delivered the industry’s first and only billion-dollar generic launch: Enoxaparin. Dave also led the generic sourcing team at Cencora, one of the three large wholesalers / customers. Prior to joining Rising, Dave held the position of Chief Commercial Officer with a specialty generic company: Slayback Pharma. Dave’s industry contacts and reputation built over three decades is a perfect fit to lead our nascent injectable business.

He has a proven track record of setting up and building high-performing HR functions and teams for fast growing businesses. Akhil holds an MBA in Human Resources from India’s prestigious XLRI. His engineering background adds a unique analytical perspective to his experience. Notably, he was honored with the Economic Times Young Leader Award in 2018, emerging as one of 500 exceptional applicants.

Before joining Rising Pharma Holdings, Ira founded and led Huntfield Pharma, a consultancy specializing in the commercial operations of the generics industry. He also served as Executive Vice President of Business Development at Citron Pharma LLC, where he spearheaded business development and commercial functions, focusing on licensing, acquisitions, market pricing, and portfolio selection.

Ira’s extensive experience includes holding key management roles at Intellipharmaceutics, Sanofi, and Sandoz. His deep industry knowledge and remarkable expertise bring great value and strategic insight to our operations.

Before joining Rising Pharma Holdings, Ira founded and led Huntfield Pharma, a consultancy specializing in the commercial operations of the generics industry. He also served as Executive Vice President of Business Development at Citron Pharma LLC, where he spearheaded business development and commercial functions, focusing on licensing, acquisitions, market pricing, and portfolio selection.

Ira’s extensive experience includes holding key management roles at Intellipharmaceutics, Sanofi, and Sandoz. His deep industry knowledge and remarkable expertise bring great value and strategic insight to our operations.

He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan – Ross School of Business. Before joining Rising, Nand was engaged in private equity at H.I.G. Capital, where he focused on middle-market opportunities. He began his career as an Analyst in the M&A group at Greenhill & Co., gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and advisory services.
