SAP Functional Consultant

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

SAP Functional Consultant is needed to perform the following duties: 

  • Gathering complex business requirements and converting those requirements into efficient and cost-effective enterprise-level applications. 
  • Work directly with the business to Architect and guide the application support project team in developing a complete solution.
  • Gathering business requirements, analyze, design, and implement best practice solutions complainant with applicable rules.
  • Manage and guide team highly skilled technicians in translating and validating business process technology solutions.
  • Involved in the requirement analysis, design, development, deployment, and testing of different Applications.
  • Design framework and workflow of the entire application.
  • Connect frontend application and backend service along with the database to develop the required application
  • Deploy and test applications in different environments.
  • Functional configuration, object delivery, and analyzing developing business logic.
  • Design framework and workflow of the entire application.
  • Preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
  • Manage the process of project development and testing phases
  • Review and approve deployment changes and modules developed by other developers, using Service NOW, Fusion Applications, and Business Objects, ensure proper standards are applied before each release.
  • Deliver project documentation and update existing documentation to include detailed software design documents and unit/composite test cases based upon stakeholder requirements.
  • Supervise the process delivery review and the maintenance communicate with customers and manage their expectations on various software development projects.
  • Collect user requirements and translate them into technical requirements.  Delegate or assign development tasks to other developers based on the derived requirements.
  • Closely work with third-party software vendors, on behalf of the customers, to resolve technical issues on existing systems.
  • Make technical decisions and recommendations to customers on system upgrades, architecture, and other system solutions.
  • Assisting management in writing and reviewing technical proposals before submitting

Bachelor Degree is required in  Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Computer Engineering  

Experience:

Specialized Training or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Needed:

  •  Advanced Microsoft Excel experience; pivot tables and the v-lookup function

Functional Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of government regulations pertaining to Federal and State programs

Company / Industry Related Knowledge:

  • Pharmaceutical Industry
