Order Management Associate

Position Title: Order Management Associate Department: Sales
Reports To: Customer Service Manager Work Location: East Brunswick, NJ
Position Summary:

Provide an overview of the role, including job scope / responsibilities, impact, decision authority, problem solving, level of influence, etc.

Perform assigned tasks related to the order fulfillment process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform assigned tasks related to the order fulfillment process so that customer orders/lines are accurately and timely communicated to the warehouse(s) for shipment
• Understand assigned customers’ ordering patterns and requirements so that orders are fulfilled per customer requirements
• Understand warehouse requirements that impact order fulfillment to ensure that orders/lines are processed as required
• Work cross-functionally to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner, while helping resolve any issues preventing this from occurring
• Process and resolve customer overages, shortages and damages
• Learn and manage shipment back-end processes for customer tracking updates
• Assist in day to day document creation
• Update and append master customer lists & order management systems
• Communicates effectively with all internal and external associates
• Takes personal responsibility to resolve problems by proposing ideas and solutions
• Contributes positively to team/company morale and spirit and driven to deliver results
• Using integrity and ethics in judgement about work and organizational issues
Position Requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Required: SAP experience and prior experience in a similar role strongly preferred
Specialized Training or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Needed:
General computer skills with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
Company / Industry Related Knowledge:
Pharmaceutical knowledge is a plus
