Customer Service Specialist

Rising Pharma is seeking a motivated Customer Service Specialist who is ready to apply their knowledge of business practices in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Reports To: Customer Service Manager
Work Location: East Brunswick, NJ

Position Summary:

Provide an overview of the role, including job scope / responsibilities, impact, decision authority, problem solving, level of influence, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a mutually beneficial business relationship with customers by providing information such as tracking, PODs, forecasts/demand, and timely deliveries/responses for purchase orders.
  • Support sales representative with their list of clients.
  • Work with Major clientele (Walmart, AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health, and McKesson) along with a myriad of other minor wholesalers who require attentiveness and timely responses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, supply chain, allocation, demand planner, operations) to provide transparency to customers on information for their orders.
  • Work with private label/relabel companies and respective supply chain planners for forecasting and delivering time-sensitive, critical orders.
  • Maintain the timing and coordinating of deliveries between warehouses and carriers to ensure orders are delivered by projected promise dates.
  • Work within SAP and 3rd party portals for setting up items in vendors portals.
  • Maintain and balance multiple files and pieces of information to ensure compliance with the vendors’ respective portals. Provide daily/weekly reports on open orders to reconcile any order issues that may occur during an order’s processing/transmission.
  • Takes personal responsibility to resolve problems by proposing ideas and solutions.
  • Contributes positively to team/company morale and spirit and driven to deliver results.
  • Using integrity and ethics in judgement about work and organizational issues.

Position Requirements:

Education:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Required: SAP experience and prior experience in a similar role strongly preferred
Specialized Training or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Needed:
General computer skills with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
Company / Industry Related Knowledge:
Pharmaceutical knowledge is a plus but not required
